This article explores the power of culture as an effort to promote a harmonious, tolerant and peaceful life between Muslims Catholics. Likang telu is cultural concept people West Flores which basis for Catholics live in harmony, tolerance peace. study was conducted Manggarai, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The work aims explore four elements including, 1) differences Muslim-Catholic relations after before reform era; 2) extent likang affects Manggarai; 3) reasons being ignored by Manggarai 4) implications fading Manggarai. sugests that era, Muslim Catholic communities could side harmony peace, while reform, situation changed conflicts were inevitable. It apparently due local wisdom, namely has 3 pillars: ase-kae (brother sister), hae beo (fellow residents), anak wina-anak rona (husband-giver wife-giver). trigger factors are emergence religious organizations both Church Islam; preferences people’s knowledge sources rely on social media; unresolved trauma past. disregard wisdom negative recommends all community should revive socialize treasure had been proven past be able build bridge interfaith among different communities.
